Magnify Our Mind Through Reading

Readings not only develops our mind and soul but it also broadens our perception, expand human intellectual horizons too. And even open the new window of knowledge so that we can cultivate our mind with great thoughts which provides new dimension to our ideas. We can gain the wisdom through reading as wisdom is hidden in our sub conciousness reading is the key to open its doors. While reading one always has to be very selective as book has the power that it can take his reader to anywhere like we see in the Internet all site are not good same with the book.

The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Reading provides additional words so we can express our view in a broad spectrum.We also lack the knowledge of words that express feelings we strongly possess and want to reveal. Simetimes it frustrate us to have shortage of words. Words convey a good grasp of abstract and emotional intelligence or feelings. It’s really surprising when we come across these words.

Shakespeare’s vocabulary included 30,000 words.Today our vocabularies run only between 6,000 and 15,000 words ! and are mostly operated or related to political and current issues, literary language or poetry has become strange to us , and the reality it expresses may feel equally strange or removed from the everyday. Because Shakespeare loved to play with words, he also created new words that we still use today.

There were 6000 languages with passing the time 2500 language are considered to be dead. We can get the command on language through reading Art and litreture books and Religious Scriptures. It facilitates the diversity of Choice and Cultural Expressions. Reading awareness programme is organised so that human can benefit more with his intellect. We should read and speak or else gradually we will become a dumb Nation. Speech is a divine gift and our intellect can only provide the data to speak. Its source is only knowledge that can be achieved through reading.

The very first word of the Quran is ‘Iqra’ means ‘Read’ commanding mankind to read. God want us to get the understanding. Exploration begins from reading and understanding. The creator knows our potential and abilities. It’s impossible without self-growth. Reading exposes us to a world of idea, notion. As concept building is not a-day possible process. Reading helps us to ponder and reflect on the subject matter. By reading, one explores a different angle to see a thing that is unknown or just can imagine the outline of the subject.

Since God has endowed man with the faculties of hearing and sight. He has been gifted these faculties of perception so that he can receive and respond, measure things and values, judging them and picking his choices. In addition to Reading, Understanding, Knowledge and its acquirement, God has given man the ability to choose the way of life and entirely left him to choose this way by himself. It could only be possible by understanding, reading is the gateway of it. Reading enhance our conscious level as well as change our perspective of life and its meaning.

Lastly, by reading any book we get the knowledge but holy scriptures is the good source of wisdom which develops our mind since the start of human civilisations. Religious scriptures have an in depth knowledge and metaphysical understanding where the existing science is yet to prove it. When we read these scriptures it takes us totally to an outer existence where we start to think creative and innovative. Religion is always a source of enlightenment for a person hence the Creator said ‘Read’!
