Learn to Fight Your Own Battles !

In life, we often encounter challenges that test our resilience, determination, and faith. Every individual faces different battles, which can come in various forms such as personal struggles, pressures, or life tests. While seeking support and advice from others is valuable, it’s also crucial to cultivate the ability to face challenges alone. When we rely solely on external support and expectations, we may experience disappointment and breakdowns if those expectations are not met. Therefore, learning to face our challenges independently is essential for personal growth and inner strength, with the belief and
and trust in Allah.

Don’t be sad, Allah is with us. (Quran 9:40)

The verse from the Quran, 9:40, “Don’t be sad; indeed Allah is with us,” serves as a profound source of inspiration, reminding us of the strength and solace we find in our faith. It encourages us to remain steadfast in our struggles, knowing that despite the challenges we face, Allah, the Creator of the universe, is always with us. This verse instills in us the belief that no matter the obstacles, we can find comfort and resilience through our connection with the divine.

One of the central teachings in Islam is the concept of Tawakkul, which translates to trust and reliance on Allah. It signifies surrendering one’s fears and worries to the Divine, trusting that Allah’s wisdom and guidance will see us through even the toughest of times.

In moments of despair, when there is no one by your side, one’s eyes often open to the realization that life is what you make of it. Remember, this life is yours, and it’s up to you to live it. People may act as spectators; however, it’s the individual who must face life’s challenges. The battle of life must be fought alone; others may come to celebrate victories or offer congratulations, but they may not fully understand the struggles one faced or the hardships endured. People come here seeking updates on their issues, thinking they have fulfilled their responsibilities once they’ve done so. This is a societal reality, so don’t be overly influenced by others’ opinions. Understand yourself; start living your life, become the author of your destiny, break free from societal norms, prejudices, and the constraints of identity, race, and lineage. Value those who are sincere to you; distance yourself from those who are not, as they may not be there to support you during difficult times.

Remember, after Allah, trust in yourself. Allah has blessed you with many abilities; utilize them to improve your standard of living. No one is obligated to provide for you or take responsibility for your life; however, if you pass away, rituals will be performed. So, it’s better to stand on your own feet than live a life of dependency, not just for yourself but also for others. A good relationship is one that contributes positively to your journey towards success.

The following story will help you understand the true concepts.

Once, the King needed help in the village, and one person came forward to assist him. In gratitude, the King promised that whenever this person needed help, they should come to the palace for assistance. Later, a great calamity struck the village, and the person who had helped the king found themselves in desperate need. Remembering the King’s promise, they made their way to the palace seeking aid. However, upon arrival, the guards turned them away, claiming they had no knowledge of any such promise.

The person then remembered the King had given them a special coin as a token. They showed the coin to the guards, who then allowed them entry. When they reached the King’s chamber, they found him praying to God, seeking help for his own son who was unwell. Witnessing the King, who had everything, turning to God for help, the person decided to do the same. He prayed to God for his needs, realizing that true help comes from the divine, even when earthly promises fail.

When (will come) the help of Allah?” ‘Behold, the help of Allah is near. (Qur’an 2:214)
