Islam emphasises first on Iman/ Faith. As ‘Right concept of God and Fear of God’ is the key aspect, need to be first established in our heart that will be reflected in our deeds. As our faith is based on principles thses guide and control our morals. Hence, moral compass that prevents us from unwanted deviation, help us to follow the principles of Islam. Those who are born Muslims, acknowledge Islam as their identity have adopted this concept from their parents. That’s ‘inheritance faith’ but when we deeply ponder over and study Islam that’s known as ‘consciousness of faith’. Actually the choice makes the difference what we choose and how we decide molds the outcome. Ideal philosophies or morals are an inner compass that prevents us from unwanted deviation.
As precise adherence of right concept of faith leads to the desired destination so does certain set of values or principles. It is our decisions, and not our conditions, that determine our destiny. This way we get true inspirations in life, then a person may endure any difficulties or any problem with courage and determination. Consequently our focus shifts from materialism to piritualism. And we willingly can do anything for the creator, investing our most time hoping to get immense reward. The spectrum is totally different if we do it for people and different outlook if we do it for the creator.
The study shows that, Japan has some of the longest working hours in the world. Nearly one quarter of Japanese companies require employees to work more than 80 hours of overtime a month, according to a 2016 government survey but at the same have highest suicide rate i.e 34%. The term “karoshi” translates to “death by overwork” in Japanese, and is a legal term recognized as a cause of death. An employee of Japan’s largest advertising firm, Dentsu, jumped to her death in 2015. The cause was said to have been depression caused by overwork. That’s the reason many women do not want to work when they marry.
So when we relate the work we get peace of mind and soul on the contrary we get depressed and frustrate if the work is against our nature or we lack passion and inspiration. A recent research shows that inspiration can be activated, captured and manipulated and has major effect on important life outcomes. Inspirational tales or incidents are often appealing and lead to self-unrecognized change. They become more open to better experiences; provided the inspiration is from the right concept. The report further states, “Inspired people start experiencing more purpose in life ….”
The relationship with God is not just mere faith but with our emotions and feelings. This commitment requires learning and knowledge. As “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” The heart is very important entity, as the remembrance of God fill our heart with spiritual force then all the instructions, test and trials become easy task just as the child spare his night studying with thd hope of good results. Similiarly, belivers remain steadfast during his test and trials. There are innumerable places in the Holy Quran where God has promised for something and His promises are definitely the truth; time has proved it and will prove again. God says in the Holy Quran as follows :
“…[It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allah in statement.?” (Qur’an 4 : 122)
“O mankind! Verily, the Promise of Allah is true. So let not this present life deceive you, and let not the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah. (Qur’an 35 : 5)
Our faith strengthens when we ponder over His promises in this life and we should march forward to embrace His promises given for the life hereafter. To what extent is our faith in those Promises and if we do believe, are we taking the first step?
“…and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you.” (Surah al- Baqarah 2 : 40).
