Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”(3:31)

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.(33:21)

And whatever the Messenger has given you – take; and what he has forbidden you – refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.(59:7)

“Verily, I have left amongst you the Book of Allâh and the Sunnah (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast, you shall never go astray.” Prophet pbuh had delivered the sermon at farewell pilgrimage.

Quran is the divine book and guidance from Allah. Sunnah means action, practice and sayings i.e. the complete Seerah (Biography of Prophet pbuh).  ultimately method and way for the followers.  The word literally means a clear and well defined path, Sunnah is the way of life prescribed as normative for Muslims on the basis of the teachings and practices of the prophet Muhammad pbuh and interpretations of the Islamic holy book, the Quran. The word sunnah the sources of religion, sunnah denotes the practices of Muhammad that he taught and practically instituted as a teacher of the sharia and the best exemplar.

Hadith book is a compilation and references of action saying and practice taken from Sunnah. Now Prophet pbuh is not among us so only authentic source is Hadith from where will get the details of sharia.

When Prophet SAW sent Muadh ibn Jabal RA to Yemen (as governor), He (SAW) asked him: How will you judge? Mu’adh said, “I will judge according to what is in the Book of Allah.” The Prophet said: What if it is not in the Book of Allah? Mu’adh said, “Then with the tradition sunnah of the Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said: What if it is not in the tradition of the Messenger of Allah? Mu’adh said, “Then I will strive to form an opinion (ijtihad).

The Prophet pbuh said ….All praise is due to Allah who has made suitable the messenger of the Messenger of Allah. (Sunan At-Tirmidhi)

It’s proved from the above hadith that Taqlid (following) the Sunnah and Hadith is compulsory for the believer. In Islam Sharia means ‘the path’ and it refers to the path that Muslims should follow in their life. It provides the guidelines and requirements for two types of interactions: Those between humans and God (worship); and those between humans to humans (social transactions). The main sources of Sharia are the Holy Quran and Sunna. Qurasnism movement was introduced by enemy of Islam to mislead Ummah (Nation). The enemies of Islam built such a conspiracies to make Muslims Ummah divert their minds against the good teachings of our Prophet pbuh. The true spirit of Islam can never be lost as long as the love and attachments for the Prophet pbuh remains in their heart.

Abdullah ibn Hisham reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he was holding the hand of Umar ibn Al-Khattab. Umar said to him, “O Messenger of Allah, you are more beloved to me than everything except for myself.” The Prophet said, “No, by the one in whose hand is my soul, until I am more beloved to you than yourself.” Umar said, “Indeed, now I swear by Allah that you are more beloved to me than myself.” The Prophet said, “Now you are right, O Umar.”

The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah . It is those who are the truthful. (Quran 49: 15)
