Allah is the One who has sent down to the Prophet the Book i. e Quran that contains five principle Muhkamat, Mutashabihat, Halal, Haraam, Amsal ul quran
The Muhkam Ayah: A verse that has one clear meaning. Its command of Allah.
The Mutashabihat Ayah: A verse that is not clear can be matched with many thing.
The Halal : Permissible or lawful things. (which is Tayyab good and pure)
The Haraam : Prohibited or unlawful things. (which is harmful and bad )
Amsal ul quran : Examples mentioned in the Quran of previous Nation.
If anyone reads the Quran he will realise that there is neither such history about Arab nor the life of the Prophet but most of the quran relates above mentioned five things .. Whoever reads the book he feels that there is guidance for him individually.
O people, We have sent down to you a Book, which deals with matters concerning yourselves. What, do you not understand this? (21: 10)
In the Qur’an, there were recounted stories of previous nations destroyed by Allah because they disobeyed his messengers and ignored his laws. Here are the nations that were destroyed and some until today, the ruins can still be seen as reminder to mankind and as proofs on what were revealed by the al-Qur’an. Surah baqra is about people of Bani Israel (Jews) the reason they are the people who were given such divine book earlier but it was changed and corrupted. Sura Ale Imran are about Nasaara (Christianity).
Many nations lived and passed away.
Every nation and community have a lifespan like all living beings; they are born, live and die. There is no eternal nation in history. Nations also pass away when their lifespan ends like human beings. It is a necessity of the system established by Allah in the universe. Allah never oppresses His slaves. Given below the history of Nation which was destroyed when their time ends because of their disobeyed Allah and denied the prophet.
The eras of human history according to the Quran:
Qurun al-Ula (The First Generations) : The period between Adam a.s and Moses a.s when the Pharaoh was destroyed and the Torah was sent down. The Nation of Nuh, Ashab ar-Ra, Aad, Thamud, Lut, Shuayb were destroyed.
Qurun al-Wusta (the Middle Generations) : The period from the time of the destruction of the Pharaoh or the revelation of the Torah to the time when Muhammad (pbuh) was sent. The Nation of Ashab al-Qarya, Saba, people of al-Jannah (People of the Garden), people of Sabt, people of al-Uhdud, the Nation of Tubba, people of al-Fil were destroyed.
Qurun al-Ukhra (The Last Generations) : It is the time period between the advent of Muhammad (pbuh) with Islam and the Doomsday, which is also called the end of time. Meccan killed in Badr, Jews tribe. Some individual people. like Abu lahab, Abu Jahl Walid B. Mughira, Nadr B. al-Harith and etc..Before the Messenger of Allah (pbuh): Nuh’s Son, Nuh’s Wife , Lut’s Wife, Nimrod , The Pharaoh and Children of Israel , Qarun ,Haman etc..
The reason why stories and especially the scenes describing individuals and communities hit by the wrath of Allah exist so much in the Quran is that it aims to enable man to protect himself from these possible dangers that will happen when he deviates. From this point of view, the parts of the Quran that include scenes of wrath are the most important parts of the Quran, which is a divine warning. As a matter of fact, it functioned like that for the first people it addressed and it will continue functioning so in the future too. It’s a Reminder from Allah.
Abdullah bin Amar (RA) relates that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Surely things will happen to my people as happened earlier to Israelites, they will resemble each other like one shoe in a pair resembles the other to the extent that if anyone among the Israelites has openly committed adultery to his mother there will be some who will do this in my Ummah as well, verily the Israelites were divided into 72 sections but my people will be divided into 73 sections, all of them will be in the fire except one.” The companions asked, ‘Who are they O Messenger of Allah,’ Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “They are those who will be like me and my companions.“(Muslim)
It’s clear that Allah (in Quran) doesn’t support or favour Arabs but Allah speaks to Believers or sometimes addresses to Muslimeen and Muhsineen (Those who do good to others) with the conditions that they should have taqwa (piousness, righteous, Fear of Allah) and for evidence there is a verse of the Quran:
“Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted”. (49: 13)
