“Verily, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Verily, Allah is ever hearing and seeing”. (Surat An-Nisa 4:58)

Quran is the last of the heavenly revelations from God on this earth. Since there will be no more corrections or reminders after this till the end. The correct form of religion must be in existence so that people may come towards it. The Islamic law i.e Sharia is profoundly emerged from the Quran and the Sunnah (Hadith), which is a complete system of life where the best body parts of Democracy, socialism, secularism, capitalism are all justifiably accommodated in the best interest of humanity. Islamic rules comply with the guidance and truth which Qur’an brought for Humanity, not man made rules but of the creators law or divine rules making it beneficial for the whole mankind regardless of time and people, and could create justice and peace in the society.

Islamic law covers all aspects of human life, gives guidline of all aspects of his life as a complete code of life, encompassing all the problems of human beings viz. Family life, Moral conduct, Social life, Economic life, Political life and from National to International affairs. Islamic law’s essence is Justice which give instance solutions for crime. We know, Civil law and criminal law are two broad and separate entities of law with separate sets of laws and punishments.

Islam has the solution for both categories as well as the law of Qisas too (Qisas is an arabic term it means “Legal Retaliation”). In general, criminal law includes major criminal offenses such as murder, stealing, assault and rape cases whereas civil law includes activities related to the process of lending and borrowing money, entering into contracts, disputes with neighbors, and marriages.

Islamic laws are comprised of five main branches: adab (behavior, morals and manners), ibadah (ritual worship), i’tiqadat (beliefs), mu’amalat (transactions and contracts) and ‘uqubat (punishments). These branches combine to create a society based on justice, pluralism and equity for every member of that society. This way, Humans can solve or overcome the fundamental problems of the society.

“Verily, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and He forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded”. (Surat An-Nahl 16:90)

Islam first takes the preventive step to control evil. If it has been occurred then it provides instance justice and solutions to the matter, which consoles the victim and wins the trust of people. The aim of instance justice is to control the society from the wrong acts that would make them to deliberately abide by the laws and could create peace and harmony for humanity. Eventually man may embark upon creative and constructive activities in all walks of life, so that it can be helpful for the society.

“O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for God , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear God ; indeed, God is Acquainted with what you do”. (Quran 5: 8)
