“O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah , His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray”. (Qur’an 4 : 136)
In the above verse Allah has asked believers to revive their faith again, to strengthen their imaan. Islamic scholars have defined iman (faith) as “to believe with one’s heart, to confess with one’s tongue and to demonstrate in one’s physical actions.”
When we get swept away by the pressures of life , facing with difficult situations, so we find ourselves low on faith, as if God is not listening or He simply doesn’t care. We just assume unknowingly that God has left us in trouble, losing hope and trust in Allah.. It’s important to remember what we are really here for and what we need to focus on the most that essential reason just slips our mind that God is controlling the universe, at the same time every decision, every event; every single thing that happens. So always pray to God as possibilities and impossibilities are mere our thoughts it’s nothing to do with God’s order and power. Certainly there is nothing impossible for God the mighty. So we have to submit our will to Him, He is the Merciful Lord, the best planner for His creation.
We need to create a very deep and special connection with God. Because if man is in service to his own desires then he has become a servant to his desire and not God.. Allah says “He is the source of infinite love”. The name of God i.e “Ar-Rahman” comes from the root word ‘r-h-m” also indicates womb; meaning that which provides protection and nourishment, and that from which all of creation is brought into being. It is the indication through this name that God’s love is beyond the love and care of the mother for his own child. Thus, we should relinquish ourselves at his lord’s mercy. Yet it works out only when slave honestly develop a very intimate connection by being acquiring the knowledge of God’s attributes will enhance our faith.
This enables a soul to often remember God and the more a soul remembers God that more it gets closer to God’s remembrance. Reflecting on the creation of Allah is also a great way to restore your faith if we spends time using his basic senses for the sake of observing God’s creation, when one reflecting on the creation of God with heart and think, then we are reminded of Him, ultimately we could feel the majesty of Alighty God and His presence around us, helping a person to remember God much more and becomes grateful to Him for all his blessings. As stated in Hadith Qudsi :
“Neither My Earth nor My Heavens could contain Me, whilst the heart of My believing servant does contain Me”
Whenever we neglect reading the Qur’an and praying, our faith fades, and conversely, when we focus more on remembering Allah through his word and praying, reading Qur’an, our faith is strengthened, we get an immediate sense of satisfaction and peace of mind. Then our natural instincts reacts, overwhelming us by God’s grace and mercy. Fullfuling the obligatory acts as commanded by God and relinquishing ourself to God’s care would draw us more close to Him with renewing our faith once again. Abstaining from forbidden acts will help a person become conscious of God’s ‘s anger and wrath thus prevent us from doing so. to do more dhirkr and praising to God cinstantly, ask for forgiveness, repent our sins, do asthagfar. We can get more closer to God through our salaah, voluntary prayers, our good deeds, reciting Quran. Keep remembering that we are gonna meet God soon and wil be answerable for all our deeds. This is a great reminder !
The saying completely go with it : when there is a will, there is a way. Nothing will change unless we decide to take an action. God says in the Qur’an
“Verily, Allaah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allaah)” (Qur’an 13 : 11)
This can be done only through our inner determination, be steadfast with the trust in God, surrender all our problem and desires to God and let Him decide what is the best for us, make lot of du’aa to Him so as to get the guidance and help from our Master, can become an obident slave, and who is always near to us every moments.
God says in the Qur’an : “And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein”. (Quran 50 : 16)
“And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided”. (Qur’an 2 : 186)
The concept of our submission to God should be well established in our hearts, and every thought, every action and every life affair must be addressed purely to God – based on His Approval and the methodology of His Messenger. Other than it should be discarded. So keeping the above reasons in mind, God is trying to tell us that no matter what problems we have, God is always there for us. Closer even than our jugular vein. Then, Does we need anyone else ?
God is the Source of All Strength.
