“We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason? “ (Quran 21: 10)
The Qur’an is the book of guidance as well as advices from the creator to all mankind which is the manifestation of Allah’s mercy to mankind. This book describes the marvel of the creation and its origin, He is the one who makes all the systems of the universe function and grow in perfect harmony, even though, we are not aware of it. It’s mentioned in the Qu’ran that God has given the life and death to each creature. So that we get to know the creator’s recognition and charchteristic and its attributes through the Qu’ran. Obviously the book which is from the creator is much more better in many ways to enrich our understanding. It not only the solutions for humanity but also the cure for spiritual disease. Allah says in the Qur’an.
“O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers”. (10 : 57)
The Qur’an gives the Universal knowledge as well as Spiritual knowledge. Human mind has not yet researched the actual reality of the creation. It is a book of moral compass which guide us how to attain that morals to become spiritually strong and develop a good character. The melodious recitation of the Qur’an is a fundamental aesthetic experience for its reader.
The Qur’an is not a book of Science but a book of ‘Signs’, i.e. Aayaats (Verses). There are more than six thousand ‘Signs’ in the Qur’an of which more than a thousand deal with hard core Science. Man’s sense of curiosity or inquisitiveness is aroused when he think deeply upon this vast universe; he is astonished at the thought of the origin. The nature and the purpose of the universe and his destiny and destination in it.
Man starts thinking about the meaning of his own life and his existence. Is there any book in the world which inspire every individual reader to consider in all the aspects of his life. It provides us to live with purpose and teach us the art of living.
“Indeed it is We who have sent down the reminder (the Qur’an), and indeed it is Us who shall preserve it” (Surah Al-Hijr 15:9).
Thus, the Qur’an remains pure even after 14 centuries and will remain so forever, for it resides in the hearts and minds of millions of Muslims. In this is a clear sign for people with intelligence, for people who reflect, and the beauty of this book is that Qur’an has been memorised by so many people of all ages. Finally, Quran is one of the most influential books in the history of literature, and the best- seller and leading book in the world.
This is the (most honored, matchless) Book: there is no doubt about it (its Divine authorship and that it is a collection of pure truths throughout) — a guidance for the God-revering, pious who keep their duty to God. (Quran 2 : 2)
