Choose Wisely!

unnamed (1)

“And have shown him the two ways” ?(Quran 90 : 10)

“Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful”. (Quran 76 : 3)

This command has been given as a choice for all mankind whoever want to be guided or grateful, should draw guidance from the Book of God i.e Qur’an. God will not urge to those people who don’t want guidance. The Creator revealed the Quran to serve as a Book of Guidance for mankind. It’s the responsibility of truth seeker to obtain the gems of guidance and wisdom from the divine revelations.

“This is the truth from your Lord. Let him who will, believe in it, and him who will, deny it.” (Quran 18 : 29)

Just as man needs water for his survival, water doesn’t. Similarly Guidance and Qur’an don’t require salvation, it’s we human beings who need redemption from Hell fire. So a person should make his own choice by his free will, reasoning and intelligence to choose any path. God will not interfere in our matter just like in the examination hall the supervisor remains quiet for three hours, once the students submit their papers no changes can be made in the paper. Similarly, this world is like examination hall for all mankind, the moment we leave this world, our results will be waiting to be announced.

God has ordained mankind to follow the right path.

“This is my straight path, so follow it, and do not follow other paths, lest they scatter you from His Path. This He has enjoined upon you, that you keep from disobedience to Him in reverence for Him and piety to deserve His protection.” (Quran 6 :153).

The straight path that leads to righteousness and all other paths are false. The Truth and Guidance has been defined by God explicitly to mankind, one is the guidance and all the other is misguidance (way of Shaitaan). Moreover God sent His guidance through His Messengers and sending the Book of Guidance. And God has bestowed humans with faculties such as eyes tongue, ears as well speech power intelligence, and the free will to choose between the Right and Wrong, Evil and Good, without any compulsion.

The Messenger of Allah pbuh drew a line with his hand and he said, “This is the straight path of Allah.” Then the Prophet drew lines to the right and left, and he said, “These are other paths, and there is no path among them but that a devil is upon it calling to its way.” Then the Prophet recited the verse, “Verily, this is the straight path, so follow it and do not follow other paths.” (6:153)
